5 Ways to More Effective Prayer

5 Ways to More Effective Prayer

In this week's video, I share five ways to more effective prayer. I believe any prayer is a good prayer, and even a short prayer is better than no prayer at all. But over the years, I've learned some tips that have blessed my prayer life a great deal. I'm excited to share these tips with you.

Once you watch today's video, be sure to comment and let me know what tips would you add?

Life is about to get crazy with the holidays coming up, so I want to leave you with this truth: hush the rush. One thing I shared in my message at this year's Beloved Women's Conference was that God is not in a hurry.

Let me say that again for the people in the back.

GOD IS NOT IN A HURRY.

That rushed feeling you hear whispering in your ear, telling you you're not enough, you're not moving fast enough, you're not doing enough is a lie. It's one of the enemy's ways of pressuring you to overwhelm your life and prevent you from hearing from God. Rush, pressure, and overwhelm do not come from God.

Remember, we serve the God who leads us beside still waters. God does not rush our souls; He restores our souls.

"He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake." - Psalm 23:2-3 ESV

Cling to God this season and allow His love and grace to set the pace for your life.
