I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. – Psalm 139:14 ESV
As women, we have so many things that the world tries to use to define us such as our family, our job, who our friends are, how much money we make, what level of education we’ve achieved, and even our social media pages. However, as daughters of the King, we are defined by who God says that we are, not the world. For this reason, we must look to God’s Word and strike down every lie that the world or the enemy tells us. Thoughts like: you are not enough, you are not pretty, you will fail, or you are not smart enough to do that, must be replaced with the truth of God.
Know that you are loved. (Ephesian 3:17) Understand that you were made in the image of God. (Genesis 1:27) Believe that you are free from sin and your past. (Galatians 5:1) Trust God is working things out for you good and that He has a plan and purpose for your life. (Romans 8:28, Jeremiah 29:11) Rest in the truth that you are secure in Christ and, although our circumstances may change, He never will. (Hebrews 13:8) This is only the beginning of who we are in Christ Ladies! As you read the Word daily, ask God to continually show you who you truly are in Him then walk in that truth!
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Please help me to reject any speech or thought that tells me otherwise and help me to walk in Your truth. In Jesus Christ Name I pray. Amen.
